Making Memories on Budget

The holiday season is all about creating lasting memories with family, and for me, it starts with decorating our home. This year, I wanted to make our home feel festive without overspending. From decorating the Christmas tree with my sons, to sprucing up the foyer and kitchen, we used affordable finds and simple DIY projects to make it all come together. Here’s how we made our holiday memories both memorable and budget-friendly.

  1. Decorating the Tree Together

This year, both of my sons asked to help me decorate our Christmas Tree! I’m not going to lie, I was excited but also hesitant because I have TWO BOYS, so yall know what that energy is like! Lol But, we decided to make it a family tradition moving forward.

  1. Sprucing Up the Rest of the House

  1. Budget-Friendly Tips for Holiday Decorating
    1. Mix store-bought items with DIY projects using dollar store finds to stretch your budget.
    2. Use natural elements like greenery, pinecones, and icicles for a timeless look.
    3. Repurpose items you already have, like ribbons, and jars.

This year, we proved that you don’t need to spend a fortune to make your home feel festive and welcoming for the holidays! From decorating the tree with my sons to adding affordable touches around the house, every moment was filled with joy and a little chaos because I am a BOY MOM! Lol

I hope this inspires you to create your own traditions and holiday memories–on a budget!
